Make sure you book your place on this spectacular summer evening cruise and enjoying views over the islands of the Firth of Forth.
This leisurely hour long cruise is a magical way to end any day, passing the islands of Craigleith, the Lamb and Fidra. Relax onboard taking in the stunning views across the sea and the sandy shoreline of East Lothian. A wonderful opportunity to see the various seabirds and marine wildlife basking in the evening light. Sula III will leave from North Berwick harbour and the first port of call is Craigleith.
Craigleith is home to thousands of nesting seabirds. We'll also keep a lookout for seals basking on Craigleith an established grey seal colony. If we're lucky maybe even dolphins which are being spotted regularly just off the coast of North Berwick. Next stop is the Lamb a small uninhabited island which is flanked by two 'sheep dogs', the North and South Dog Islands. Our last island to visit in the evening light is the distinctive island of Fidra, a national nature reserve owned by the RSPB. This charming little island fired up Robert Louis Stevenson's imagination to write Treasure Island when he accompanied his father and uncle on trips to the island while they were designing the lighthouse. He often visited the beaches at the area known today as Yellowcraig and it is said that he based his map of Treasure Island on the shape of Fidra.
We look forward to welcoming you aboard for a wonderful evening to remember.
Well behaved dogs are also welcome.
The tour takes approximately 1 hour and does not land on any of the islands.
