North Berwick and Anstruther are two of the most picturesque villages in Scotland, only 10 miles apart but nearly a two hour drive by road.  Sula III runs a direct passenger ferry service between the two seaside towns, with a crossing time of 45 minutes it is a great way to explore 'the other side'.

Departure times vary due to the tides but you can expect almost the full day (approx 8 hours) ashore. This gives you plenty of time to explore the town, enjoy a walk along the coast, enjoy the beaches or catch a bus to a nearby town and of course feast on some of the local fish and chips before heading back across the water to your starting point.

Well behaved dogs are welcome on board, however they must be kept on a lead at all times.

Please note that due to the tidal nature of both harbours we only get a tidal window approximately every fortnight that allows us to provide both a morning and evening return sailing on the same day. We usually then run for 2 or 3 consecutive days. This service runs from April - September.

Please ensure you select the correct sailing direction from the drop down menu below before selecting the date of your sailing on the calendar to book.

We have very limited availability to carry bicycles onboard our Cross Forth Ferry. They must be booked on in advance. Please get in touch prior to booking so we can advise if there is availability and to allow us to add this to your booking.
