From April until the end of September,
Sula II operates boat trips to the local islands off North Berwick.
Sailings are every
day, sea and weather conditions permitting.
From the boat you will have the opportunity to view seabirds, seals
and very occasionally the odd dolphin or whale. Once we are under
way you will hear an informed commentary that will tell you all
about the seabirds, the history of the islands and the local coastline.
The boat is licensed by the Maritime and Coastguard Agency to carry
67 passengers. As such she is fully equipped with all up to date
safety apparatus, including life jackets for everyone on board.
Sula II will normally sail from within
North Berwick harbour, but occasionally at low tide she will depart
from Galloway’s Pier (sometimes referred to as “The
Old Pier”), which is just outside the harbour, on the north
shore facing Craigleith.
Departure information and times of daily sailings are posted on
noticeboards at the harbour. This information can also be obtained
by calling 01620 892838 after 9.00a.m.each day.
