Sula II, the traditional launch that provides boat trips from North
Berwick harbour to the world famous Bass Rock, Craigleith (“The
Craig”) and to Fidra.
Fred Marr established Sula Boat Trips in 1970, when he began running
boat trips from North Berwick in Sula I. The present boat, Sula II
has been running since 1972.
Built from Honduras
mahogany and licensed to carry 67 passengers, Sula II is unique
amongst the boats sailing from North Berwick. The family business
continues as Sula II and is now operated by Fred’s son and
daughter Chris and Pat, who look forward to welcoming you aboard.

PRESS: Dolphins spotted from the Sula
on Tuesday 18th August, swimming east
close to Platcock Rocks.
AND
Gannet chicks now in garden – this bird (nicknamed “Candyfloss”)
was picked up from the water, nearly drowned.
What a difference a day makes + some TLC !!).
Feeding normally takes place 5-5.30 each evening. |
